OUR VISION IS TO HELP YOU FIND GOD'S VISION FOR YOUR LIFE.
How do we accomplish that? By working in tandem with our Culture, Mission Statement and Strategies.
OUR CULTURE IS The RESULT OF OUR VISION, MISSION, AND STRATEGY:
We pray more than anything that our entire church family becomes:
- Intentional about Growth.
- Dedicated to Community.
- Balanced in Life.
- Passionate in Worship
Our Mission - or wHAT WE DO here - IS CENTERED around:
Encountering Christ is one of the most significant issues facing the 21st century.
People continue to say, “I like your God, but I don’t like your Christ.” Yet, the fact remains that we are not Godians, but Christians, and when we truly encounter Christ we connect with a loving and gracious Savior and Lord.
Embracing community is the key to unlocking your God-potential.
The Christian life is more than just believing - it's belonging. It is finding a community of faith that enhances our passion for Christ and our pursuit of His purpose at work in our lives. When we find our place, we activate our potential.
Empowering people is about coaching people to connect their calling to the Kingdom of God.
A career is involved with making the world a better place, but a calling involves making the kingdom a better place. Christians who live our a calling transform our cities and communities.
ENGAGE THE WORLD
Engaging the world is really about leading other to Christ and external significance.
God has one mission on His mind: to seek and save the world. The more we get to know God, the more we will engage the world with His mission.
HOW WE ACCOMPLISH WHAT WE LOVE HERE IS BIBLICALLY ANCHORED AND ROOTED IN COMMUNITY.
Following Christ is more than a religion; it’s a relationship. When you genuinely follow Christ, He transforms your life, your family, and your community.
Matthew 16:24 – If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and FOLLOW ME. (NKJV)
At Higher Vision, we believe that growth occurs through belonging and becoming. Belonging includes finding relational connections, and becoming includes pursuing your potential in Christ.
Ephesians 4:15 – …but speaking the truth in love, may GROW UP in all things into Him who is the head— Christ. (NKJV)
The real work of the Church involves every Christ follower connecting their competencies to the Kingdom of God. When we truly serve Christ, we serve one another.
Romans 12:6 – God has given each of us the ability to DO CERTAIN THINGS WELL. (LB)
Every Christian has received a biblical mandate: to lead. To be “light in the world” and “salt to the earth.” In our day and time, we desperately need to develop Christ followers who will present a credible picture of Christ to the world.
Matthew 5:14 – YOU ARE THE LIGHT of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. (NKJV)
